OPP-ERA Project Head Office Team


Project Director
Aurélie JOUSSET holds a master’s degree in international public health (ISPED, Bordeaux), a master’s degree in international management (IAE, Lille), a master’s degree in analytical engineering and biotechnology (Université Montpellier 1) and a  Biological Engineering “DUT” (IUT, La Rochelle). Aurélie spent 4 years in medical and research laboratories (INSERM and Institut Pasteur) and 4 years in the  pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries  consulting sector within Ubifrance India and Paris Region Development. Aurélie joined Solthis as Director of the OPP-ERA Project in October 2016, after 5 years of experience in international public health in Haiti and Malawi, respectively within MSH (Management Sciences for Health) and Clinton Health Access Initiative.
Administrative and Financial Manager
Jeanne Roussel Jeanne ROUSSEL, graduated form Bioforce Institute in international solidarity projects management, she also holds an LEA master’s degree from the university of Grenoble 3 and a DU obtained from the Samu Social International and the Paris VI and XII medicine school. She worked as European projects manager of education-training at “les Apprentis d'Auteuil” and later after European projects manager of clinical research at “l'Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris (AP – HP)”. Specialized in project management and institutional financing, she joined Solthis in November 2016.
Health Economist
  Nadia YAKHELEF ,  Doctor in health economics and holder of a D.U in epidemiology, joined OPP-ERA  project team in 2016 and works more specifically on medico-economic evaluations of viral load tests. Previously a health economist and epidemiologist for MSF, Nadia has achieved economic evaluations of several TB screening techniques in HIV / AIDS patients. Besides, she set up a surveillance system during the yellow fever epidemic in Katanga, Democratic Republic of Congo. Nadia also worked as health economist for WHO Geneva where she was in charge of support and supervision of 7 Francophone African countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal) in their health workforcr planning.
Procurement and Supply Manager
 Isabelle Zangré Isabelle ZANGRÉ, graduated from ESCEM ( Ecole Supérieure de Commerce et de Management) in business management, she worked for ten years in the retail sector in France and Burkina Faso, in the pharmaceutical sector and for companies specialized in the cultural and high-tech products distribution. Since 2006, she has worked in Public Procurement management in International Development Organizations: in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) within the UNDP as a Procurement Officer, WFP as a Procurement Assistant, for Pathfinder International as the Supply and Logistics manager; in Niamey (Niger) for UNICEF as Contracts Specialist. She joined Solthis in November 2016 as the Procurement and Supply Manager for  OPP-ERA Project.
 Laboratory Advisor, Virology
Emilande GUICHET, joined OPP-ERA in 2017 as a virologist,Laboratory Advisor after completing her research thesis at the Development Research Institute (UMI TransVIHMI, INSERM U1175, University of Montpellier) in Montpellier. Graduated pharmacist from the University of Nantes, Emilande is interested in the resistance of HIV-1 to antiretroviral treatment as well as the improvement of virological follow-up of patients living with HIV in southern countries, espacially in Central Africa and West (Burkina-Faso, Cameroon and Senegal). In this line, she has developed a great experience of open and polyvalent platforms, the principal technology used within the OPP-ERA project. A large part of her research work was conducted in Cameroon, at the CREMER national laboratory (IMPM-IRD, Yaoundé), accredited by WHO for  HIV-1 resistance surveillance to antiretroviral therapy.
Laboratory Advisor
Solthis- Natasha
Natasha DUBOIS CAUWELAERT, Natasha completed a PhD thesis in Immunology at the Infectious Disease Research Institute (IDRI), Seattle, USA. Strong with her experience in implementing a molecular biology laboratory at the Institut Pasteur in Madagascar, Natasha worked at the International Training and Education Center (I-TECH), Seattle, USA as a laboratory specialist to strengthen laboratory systems in Côte d’Ivoire. One of her main responsibilities was to support the Ministry of Health with the implementation of a program for continuous quality improvement of rapid tests in more than 3,000 HIV diagnostic sites. Natasha joined the OPP-ERA team in March 2017 as a laboratory consultant to help strengthen quality and monitor the project laboratories activities.
Biostatistician – Epidemiologist
Solthis- Magali RUIZ Magali RUIZ is a doctor in veterinary medicine.  She also holds a specialized master degree in Public Health from the “Institut Pasteur” and the “Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers”. As part of the Global Health Security Action Program (GHSA), Magali worked as a veterinary epidemiologist within the FAO for the development and piloting of an evaluation tool of surveillance systems of zoonotic diseases in Africa. Specialized in epidemiology and biostatistics, Magali joined OPP-ERA in January 2018.
