Solthis (Solidarité thérapeutique et Initiatives pour la Santé / Therapeutic Solidarity & Initiatives for Health) is an international NGO whose objective is to improve prevention and access to quality health care through health system strengthening in countries where it operates. In Sierra Leone, Solthis is currently implementing the Empower II project (discover here), which aims at providing a patient oriented, quality focused and needs based care to people living with HIV, by strengthening the capacities of healthcare teams in targeted health facilities in Freetown and Port Loko and by promoting the rights of users of health services, including the most vulnerable.
